Rev. Ron Roddey, Pastor

Before coming to Cornerstone, he was the assistant pastor at Independent Bible Baptist in Charlotte, NC. While there, he directed all visitation and evangelistic outreach ministries. He has many years experience as pastor and several years as youth pastor. His past ministries include: camp director at Harvest Time Bible Camp; preaching in nursing homes, jails, and on the radio; directing a bus ministry; teaching Sunday School; and leading visitation and soul winning programs. He has been instrumental in growth in several churches.

Pastor Roddey accepted Jesus as his savior on 3/5/78 at Eastside Baptist in Rock Hill. He attended Blessed Hope Bible Institute in York, SC, was licensed in 1981, and ordained in 1983. He received a Bachelorʼs degree in Bible Studies at Great Commission Bible College, Bowling Green, KY in 1997. Pastor Roddey and his wife, Terry, have 3 daughters and sons-in-law. They are Phil & Suzanne Slaughter, Bobby & Becky Matthews, & Everett & Charity Turbeville. Their granddaughters are Elly and Etta Marie Turbeville and Olivia Slaughter.
