We are a Baptist church believing in salvation of sinners by Grace and through Faith alone.  We believe the Bible to be the inspired, inerrant Word of God and the only authority for the governing of the local church.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified & buried, and rose again for our justification.  We believe Jesus Christ is coming again!

 

August Announcements & Upcoming Events Neighborhood Canvassing – Aug. 23rd 9:30 – 11:30 AM Anniversary Celebration We will celebrate our second year at Cornerstone on Sunday September 14th with special singing by some of our members and by the Country Grass Band. After the services there will be dinner on the grounds. Plan to come and bring your favorite meals to share. We are looking forward to this time of worship and fellowship. New Members We are pleased to have two new members. Tina Thomas and Audrey Like have been regular visitors with us for months. Nursery Work is in progress to completing the nursery. Please prayerfully consider serving in this area by painting, decorating, providing materials, and/or assisting during services. The nursery area is usable at this time, but more work is yet to be done. Visitation Program We would like to invite you to join us on Thursday nights for visitation.  We have been meeting here in the parking lot at 7:00p.  The pastor directs us with the places to visit and pray.  We are finished visiting around 8:30p.  We would like to encourage you to join us.  We always receive a blessing when we go. Sunday School We have been blessed to be able to expand out Sunday School to include two adult classes.  The Pastor is teaching the Young Adult Class and Jerry Bowers is teaching the Older Adults Class.  If you are not already attending Sunday School, we would like to invite you to join us at 9:45a.
